Crystal Glass Table Lantern

"Glass is for us not only a formed shape or surface. The transparency, the look is more important. But only light brings the objects to life", says the designer Petra Schütte. For the German designer with bohemian roots the ideas for the creation of glass objects often come in nature. It can be blossoms, roots, mussels or shapes of the sand, sometimes the clear surface of moved water, the shine of metallic surfaces. These are free associations, to take shape  in sometimes filigree, sometimes heavy, coarse crystal glasses and objects.
